Programme Overview
This course aims to equip learners with the knowledge and abilities to follow the organizational Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) policies and guidelines.
This includes
- Importance of WSH
- Organisational reporting procedures for WSH related matters
- Common risks and hazards involved in environmental services industry
- WSH risk control measures
- Follow WSH practices to prevent accidents or minimise risks
- Identify the unsafe acts or conditions present in the work environment
- Report to supervisor unsafe acts or conditions
Entry Requirements
Applicants will need to have minimally primary level education or have attained WPL level 1. Shortlisted applicants may have to go through an interview and/or entrance test. Temasek Polytechnic reserves the right to shortlist and admit applicants. Applicants who have already completed any module(s) will be considered on a case by case basis.
Applicants needs to be 18 years of age and above.
Registration may be closed earlier due to overwhelming response.
Application Procedures

Steps to follow in your application:
Step 1 – Click the “Apply for courses on eTEAMS” Button.
If you do not have a trainee account with SII
Step 2 – Click the “User Manual (PDF) 3.46MB” icon on the right side of the screen to download the manual for detailed instructions.
Step 3 – Click “Sign Up via Sing Pass” and complete the registration process to create an account.
If you already have a trainee account with SII
Step 4 – Login with your Sing Pass (for Self Sponsored trainees)
Step 5 – Search for the course under the course code SWW013F.
Step 6 – Click “I want to register for this course” and choose the relevant course schedule.
Step 7 – Tick the “Agree” tick box. Next click “Add to Cart”
Step 8 – Click “View Cart”.
Step 9 – Click “Proceed to Register”
Step 10 – Complete all the pages on the registration form. Click the “Retrieve My Info” button to auto-fill most of your personal details for convenience.
Step 11 – Click “Save and Proceed” button at the end of the registration.
Step 12 – Tick all the relevant tick boxes.
Step 13 – Click “Submit Registration” button

Note:
It is a requirement for all trainees to attain at least 75% training attendance and pass the assessment for EACH module to enjoy SSG’s subsidy. Trainees who do not meet the requirement will have to pay the full unsubsidised course fees.
