Programme Overview

This course aims to equip learners with the knowledge and abilities to follow the organizational Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) policies and guidelines.

 

This includes

  1. Importance of WSH
  2. Organisational reporting procedures for WSH related matters
  3. Common risks and hazards involved in environmental services industry
  4. WSH risk control measures
  5. Follow WSH practices to prevent accidents or minimise risks
  6. Identify the unsafe acts or conditions present in the work environment
  7. Report to supervisor unsafe acts or conditions

Entry Requirements

Applicants will need to have minimally primary level education or have attained WPL level 1. Shortlisted applicants may have to go through an interview and/or entrance test. Temasek Polytechnic reserves the right to shortlist and admit applicants. Applicants who have already completed any module(s) will be considered on a case by case basis.

 

Applicants needs to be 18 years of age and above.
